Greetings Councillor,

As requested here are the plans for your approval. The plans are fairly simple and are designed for dual purposes 1. Facilitate the Functions of the House of Light and 2. Act as a safe refuge for the Citizens of lower in case of an enemy incursion.

Sergeant Greyward has mentioned that we will need to be careful of the tunnels that are underground and will need careful surveying work to ensure that the House is nort comprimised from below.

If it is feasible, with Spellguard help - I would like to see an escape hatch into the tunnels as an escape for the citizens. I also believe the Spelllguard are looking into warding the House against fire and also against invisibility effects to prevent a repeat of the tragic bombing of the House.

Please let me know any additional costs that this will incur so that we can see about raising those funds though hopefully the Council will be able to partially fund this as it is also a refuge for citizens in times of war.

I have forwarded these plans to the builder, and received an estimate for additional costs to be in the realm of an additional 20,000 gold pieces. I will personally be donating five thousand gold pieces, which means that only an additional fifteen thousand gold pieces will be required.

If you can have your crews commence the main building reconstruction and start the excavations for the basement we will see about raising the remaining funds.
