It is with a heavy heart I need to report the death of Councillor Lancaster in a robbery at the Temple of Hoar in Lowers.

Myself, Eowung, Caliira and Karmin had been contracted to look after a problem in the Hoarian temple which we completed succesfully. On the way back to report to Accolyte Derber we were attacked within the Temple itself.

Myself, Karmin and Caliira had just ascended a set of stairs when we were attacked - everything went dark there were the sounds of magical discharges and I recall being hit by many small magical bolts then I collapsed and everything went black.

I woke up an unknown amount of time later to see that I had been stripped of armor and other valuables as had Caliira and KArmin - though they left karmin's armour behind. Shortly Eowung ascended the stairs in a similarly shaken condition wearing nothing but underclothes. It was then we learned of Councillor Lancasters Death.

Apparantly she had heard the attack and managed to get past the attackers and seek help. She sought out Councillor Lancaster who accompanied her to investigate. Councillor Lancaster sought the Help of the TigerEye Mercenaries and was accompanied by Patrick Keagan and Terio Mether to investigate.

At some point in their search The Councillor and Eowung were attacked in the same maner as we had been earlier. When she woke up both she and councillor had been stripped of everything and Councillor Lancaster was dead.

When decided please let me know who has been assigned to this investigation so that we may be in touch to render assistance where possible.

Chell Addams has asked me to expand on what happened to us in the Temple of Hoar.

I was behind Chell, Karmin and Caliira, and entered the temple area from the crypts a little later than they did.

I entered the temple corridor and was surrounded by darkness. I could hear movement, and voices. One voice told me to drop my weapons. My reflexes must have saved me here as I ran back into the crypts after casting invisibility on myself.

Harried by unseen foes, I then ran back through the temple, tripping over a body. It was Chells, I think. I felt a blade swing past me, and the sound of spell casting so I ran for the exit.

From there I made my way to Upper, looking for help. I found Councilor Lancaster near the Rock Bottom. He offered to escort me back down to the temple and help determine what happened. On the way he called for Tigereye aid, and we were joined by Tigereyes Kegan and Merthur.

We went back into the temple and found a body, which was Karmins. There were no other bodies there, but belongings were scattered about that had belonged to my companions. I checked the rooms off the temple corridor and found nothing.

At this point the others had started moving further, into the crypts. I went downstairs after them, and was engulfed in unnatural darkness again. Blows were rained on me from all sides, and I fell. The last thing I remember was the sound of a spell being cast and incredible pain.

After this, it was like a strange dream, as Chell said. I woke to find myself virtually naked and stripped of everything. Julian's lifeless body was nearby. I don't know what happened to the Tigereyes, they were not with us that I could see.

I went back up to the temple proper and found my companions here, alive as well to my pleased surprise.
