Citizens of Sanctuary,

Do not be taken in by this 'Emissary' from the Brotherhood of the Ooze. These humans that came to you on behalf of the Elemental Evil, are Drow collaborators. Drow are Drow whether they worship the Spider Queen or the Elemental Evil, Ghaunadaur. They still regard all races other than the Drow as surface 'rothe', and that is what you are to them. Do not let them herd you into a battle with Traensyr!

The typical Drow tactics are to use slave races as shock troops in mass quantities. Kobolds, and Goblins are typically the first victims. Drow however, consider all races to be the same as Kobolds and Goblins. Do you want to be at the front lines, slain by the army of Traensyr, used by these rebels of Ghaunadaur to preserve their own numbers while weakening our own fair city?

We the defenders of Sanctuary say to you no! Shall we be taken in by the same Drow that attacked Sanctuary less than a month ago? They serve the same master, a Lich-Drow by the name of Temrariel the Six-Fingered. Many Seekers, Watchmen, and Agents of the Order perished fighting this fiend. Why should they be forgiven for this act? Because they offer you a chance to fight the Drow? If you wish to fight the forces of Traensyr, do so on your own terms, your own initiative, in a way that does not compromise our city's defense.

What happens if they win? If they conquer Traensyr? They know the location of our fair city. They will need and want slaves of their own, and their gaze will turn upon us first.

And what if they lose? What if these Drow fail? Then the Nobles of Traensyr shall wonder where these collaborators came from. Do we want to be drawn into a war with Traensyr that we cannot possibly win?

Do not aid the Drow. A Drow is a Drow, whether they worship Spiders or Ooze.
