The Council,; Town Hall

Councillors,

I am aware that you have been exceedingly busy this term, but I am mildly irritated that you have not passed the proposed additional laws that the Society presented to you last term.

If the slaves of Traensyr are indeed freed fairly soon, then the potential for infiltration will rise exponentially. The proposed laws must be in place lest we have even more things attempting to drag Sanctuary down than we do already.

If you've somehow managed to lose them, then a copy can be sent.

Ordinant Rikennan

Ordinant Rikennan,

Indeed, we have been busy. Business from prior terms does not carry over into new terms. Irritated or not, you have not pursued further legislation yourself.

Many of the laws sent in, as I recall, were not bad laws in and of themselves, but were entirely incapable of being enforced. I gave you the suggestions to handle it as a private matter, and later when I spoke with Miss Averscanti, discovered that you had not even sent her so much as a letter to request her help.

Please pursue the advice I gave you last term before sending in more legislation. When and if you do send it in, speak with a Watchman, Spellguard Agent, or as a last resort a Councilor to ensure conceivably enforcable laws.
