Anyone else find it really odd that bards can make Cure X Wounds wands, cast the cure spells, but not use the wand without UMD or multiclassing? Is this something that could be fixed or is there a reasonable IG explanation for that?
It seems strange that a Bard can make a wand he then has no idea how to activate.

Bards can use wands they make, as can other arcane classes. They can't use cure wands made Divine casters, and vice versa.

Yes indeed, this is why wand making bards are so awesome. However I think theres a bug that if you HAVE umd you will make the check as a cleric/rogue or a bard/rogue.

Okay, that's fine then. I'd cast the cure spells from the Bard list not the Cleric one, so I was surprised to not see "Bard" on the list of classes the result was usable by.
I couldn't check that applied though, as my Bard's a L1 Cleric too and so he can use any cure wands anyway.

The joys of inadvertent powerbuilding....

Definitely not a power-build.

No, a powerbuild wouldn't have taken Still Spell when I never use stilled spells beacuse I only ever buff. :P

If he makes a divine wand with a cleric spell, then doesn't his cleric class make him able to use the wand? I might be way off on this. Seems a bit buggy on Bioware's part to me.

nope, I casted the spell off the Bard list, because he was Bard 5/Cleric 1 and casted at a higher level that way.
