Chamberlain Crowshire, Archibald Estate

Chamberlain,

It is a great shame you and I have yet to meet. I fear we keep very irregular times indeed. I still hope to have the meeting you desire, though.

Something else which I must bring up is an accusation on the part of one of Lord Archibald's retainers, Mrs. Melve. She intended to implicate me in the violence which ultimately led to Councilor Rook, Seeker Malthus and Watchman Caderyn littering the streets as corpses. While I was present for part of this, I did in no way enter the fray (I must admit I am quite a poor warrior) and I've many witnesses to vouch for that.

A number of options are available to me in dealing with Mrs. Melve's accusations, Chamberlain. I won't recount some of them here, but will allay any fears you have and tell you I have decided to come to you first. I would like for you to talk Mrs. Melve into retracting her vilifying statements in order to clear my name.

Respecfully,

Ambassador Ignatiev

I do still look to meet with you, but letting Ambassador Rook to be executed is very disappointing. I do believe you owe him as much as to try to save his corpse and bring it to us. I am a bit surprised you did not demand the corpse to be handed over already, as Shadow Tribe Ambassador you should have some influence there.

We both know if he is not revived, it is a difficult situation for everyone involved. We really do not need these tensions to grow.

Chamberlain,

I am as aggrieved as you are over the loss of Councilor Rook, believe me. However, as I mentioned, I am anything but a warrior and thus have little influence over a raging Ghyrrt, who was not having the corpses or effects returned to the Upper City for any reason whatsoever.

I will, however, try and find Ghyrrt tomorrow when he has calmed down and the situation is less volatile to ask him where the corpse is so that the esteemed Councilor may be returned to us.

Respectfully,

Ambassador Ignatiev

Good, I am not asking you to take any step as a warrior, such would be foolish and I really do not wish you ill personally. However, but what I ask is for the Shadow Tribe to have side in this, help us solve this diplomatically.

I hope we can finally meet in person soon, you are welcomed to come and visit me at the House Archibald estate and I will certainly try to reach you at the Embassy.
