Sheriff Azzam,As I am sure you are now aware, I seek to become the new Headmaster of the School of War. As far as I know this does not violate the terms of my 'punishment' as I will neither be renting or holding land, as it clearly belongs to the Council and the City.
I hope that our past does not interfere with future endeavors - endeavors that are clearly aimed at making the city more secure and safe for all. Due to my background as a student of the Citadel of Strategic Militancy, located outside of Baldur's Gate, I am uniquely qualified for the position.
There is no need for a lengthy response. All I wish to know is if you will stand opposed to my appointment, should I receive the approval of the Council. If you do, I would also like to know why and if there is a way that I can change this outlook.
