Letter to Herschel Huygens

*A letter written on used paper is left at the future site of the Sanctuary Library - Lower Branch. Despite its condition, the handwriting within is neat and bereft of grammatical error*

Mister Huygens, I cannot express in words how my heart sings in joy at the prospect of your library's coming to my home of lower. As a kobold, I am unable to ascend to Upper and have found it nearly impossible to gain access to written works or, as you may divine by the state of this note, of decent paper. My reasons for scribing this letter are twofold; first, I wish to inquire as to whether your policy of admittance to all races extends to mine. Second, I am in dire need of decent writing materials and am curious as to whether the library would see fit as to part with some pens, inks and blank tombs. I will, naturally, provide you with monetary compensation for said materials. You may contact me at the Crone.

Your's Truly, Sisco DeSoto

DeSoto,

In the coming days some slight renovations will be undertaken in the Lower Branch, and after that time it will be opened up to your race, and all races. Writing materials will be available within, in limited supply, free for all to use, no monetary compensation will be necessary. Deneir's gift is free for all.
