Mister Huygens, I cannot express in words how my heart sings in joy at the prospect of your library's coming to my home of lower. As a kobold, I am unable to ascend to Upper and have found it nearly impossible to gain access to written works or, as you may divine by the state of this note, of decent paper. My reasons for scribing this letter are twofold; first, I wish to inquire as to whether your policy of admittance to all races extends to mine. Second, I am in dire need of decent writing materials and am curious as to whether the library would see fit as to part with some pens, inks and blank tombs.
