Thank you for returning our Associate to us intact. I would also like to thank you for the lovely note. Your slight upon my 'honor' is noted, however I had no idea that the Associate was ever in danger. We had just returned from an excursion in the Dark Canal when we agreed to return to Upper Sanctuary under the cover of invisibility. I had no idea that he would not make it back before the invisibility expired, and I believe I have you to thank for his life.

I do find it fascinating to know that you were in fact tracking us. Despite the fact that 'Lord Pyotr Ignatiev', with all of his various titles stated that he no longer desires my head. This means that you are either acting of your own accord, 'Jacques', and simply want me dead, or that 'Lord Pyotr Ignatiev' is lying to me. I would be quite shocked to learn that the good Ambassador has done so.
