___________,
I would like to inform you both that there are two candidates for the position of Headmaster, each being a fine choice. Thus, on behalf of the Council, I request that the you meet with (other person's name here) and see if the two of you can come to suitable arrangements for having two Headmasters.
I would recommend, from my experience, to seek terms where you both have equal authority overall, but one handles public training and the other handles private, or one works on putting out literature and the other hands-on training/application, and other such seperate-but-equal powers.
Submit the outcome of your meeting to the Council for review as soon as possible. If negotiations are unsuccessful, we shall determine a Headmaster in the traditional manner.
