I am happy to see that quest drops are not cluttered with 20 dye pots anymore, however it is now very difficult to find many colors. This is compounded by the (now not so recent) loss of Ghail.
Could the dye selection from merchants be expanded somewhat?
I'm not suggesting an Arabel style, every nuance of every shade, but rather that by visiting a few merchants around the Underdark that all basic colors become accessible. Even if you argue that dyes, especially of certain colors, should be rare in the Underdark, I think that most would agree that things are currently too limited.

The tailor in upper has a rather large selection of overpriced dyes if you really need em.

Brelm has a large selection? Pfft. If you consider 10 shades of brown selection, sure =/
Personally, I think Brelm should over dyes of every colour that the seamstress if possible of providing in custom tailored suits.

His selection isn't bad.
What kind of dye color are you looking for? If you want a certain color bad enough, post flyers. Someone will have some.
Rainbow color imo

'Rip' had quite a lot of fun on his own personal quest for rainbow metal paint, even leading him on a quest or two in hopes that he could find it.
But not every PC is going to be like a halfling on a mission to find a certain dye.

That was exactly what I was talking about, actually! It was interesting. People ALWAYS ask for Greatswords, Cloaks of Invulnerability, and Amulets of Awesomeness... but asking for an oddly colored metal paint? That's pure pwnage.

No, Elwicket just traded for some Rainbow paint with a party member who showed it, and proceeded to make the most tasteless set of armor known to gnomekind. Of course, he LOVES the hideous stuff. the helm looks especially gaudy :D.

Just like every other time this has been suggested, I whole-heartedly agree. Stone age peoples (and much earlier) could produce nearly every color of dye using natural items.
Plus, I believe it could only add to the variety of characters (visually, at least) on our beloved server.

Please do this. I need to make my gnome's armor even more gaudy and tasteless and I want something to clash even worse with rainbow paint. :D
