To Rook;
Rook. We have spoken many times in the past. We have been friends, and despite our recent arguement, I still regard you as a man with honor. Despite what you may think of me, You know I have a high code of honor, and that is what drives my actions. Ariel has died, and the Seekers have stolen from her. I went to the hall and asked for her things, and I was instead met with threats and attacked when preparing to defend myself against their approach.I did not attack any of them once. I am intelligent enough to know the kind of position doing so would have put me in. You were also a friend of Ariel's. See that her things are returned to the school, whatever happens to me as a result of this attack on the part of this rookie private.
To Gil Smith;
Private, You've no doubt heard what has happened. This is my record of the events taht transpired. On a mission to free slaves, apaprently ( I am not sure, I came to protect my comrades Ariel and Torrey, and was never told the details) Ariel fell, and died. At this point, My reason for being present in this battle no longer existed. Torrey and I left, determined to ensure that she was cared for and brought back in the hold. When we arrived, the preist said he could do nothing for her.Torrey stormed out, wrought with greif. I took her body to the school and performed a small memorial. Most of her things were given to me by one present, but One named Herschel took the rest. After my service to Ariel, I went to the seeker's hall to ask for the rest of her belongings, which were the property of the school of war. Herschel, the seekers, and your private would not turn them over, and Demanded I leave. They called me a theif and a liar, which if you have learned anything of me in the past few days, is that I am a woman who holds honor in the upmost importance.
The seekers have stolen her things, and have pushed your misguided comrade into attempting to arrest me. When they approached, I prepared to defend myself, then thought otherwise, that defeating them would only make things worse. For the sake of my comrades, I bore the shame of fleeing a battle easily won.
I ask you to do anything you can to ensure this illegitimate arrest where the seekers attacked me first along with your comrade, is rectified. I have broken no laws, I retreated from this assault under the guise of an arrest. I made no hostile moves, I did not strike the seekers nor your Comrade once. I cast no spells in my retreat through unwarded areas.
I do not even see how I could be charged with noncompliance to stop, as a request to stop and submit to a blatant and unfounded assault is in no way a reasonable request.
You are a man of Honor, and duty. A mistake has been made here tonight, and my fallen comrade greivously dishonored. I ask for your help in rectifying it. Leave a response at the crone.
