Letter for the Watch and Spellguard

*A letter containing an official report is provided to the Spellguard and Watch*

Agents/Watchmen,

I am writing this letter to inform you of the threat that persists against our interests. We should meet soon to discuss ways in which we can mitigate it.

Airandir

domare Seekers,

This dark while conducting a scouting patrol of the surrounding underdark, I encountered a large bat in which I entered into a fray with. As I was struggling with a magical healing device, I was waylaid by Sange, Ghyrrt, and two other goblins. As I struggled with staying conscious, they carried me to a cave near lower entrance and interrogated me.

At first, they were of the idea that they would either kill me or hold me for ransom. However, after Sange recognized me and relayed that I was the one in favor of her living during our last encounter with her, they decided otherwise. They stripped approximately 2500 coin and my seeker key from me and instructed me to relay the following to the Seekers if I want to see it returned:

1. They demand Sange’s and Pyotr’s belongings returned. 2. Money for Raises for Montezzi’s men. 3. Mourn’s and Agent Syrmbaern’s head 4. Money for lower.

Ghyrrt relayed that they will attack the Seeker Hall if his demands are not made. Moreover, another interesting thing was that Ghyrrt wears a helm very similar to the Prince’s. It has moving tentacles, which leads me to it is illithid of design.

Airandir

[the letter is received at the Watch Fortress]

Seeker Airandir,

Understandably, I cannot leave the Tower at the moment. However, the Order does have plans for dealing with the matter. If you are willing to come to the Tower, I will see what clearance I can gain to discuss the matter.

-Agent Isania Symbaern.

A letter is sent to the Watch, but in a brave effort to foster freedom Alistair abstains from alerting the Spellguard:

Gentlemen of the Watch,

Sange, a full blooded orc or orog, and two goblins ambushed Councilor Kaith, Seeker Mourn, Reynart Sanas, Herschel, Pvt Bryan and I near Mur. All but one goblin perished in the battle, though Seeker Mourn was murdered and his body carried off by the fourth goblin.

I will keep you informed.

-- A. Orsini
