Harrison, Hand Delivered By A Canal Refugee [DM]

Good Harrison,

The council would like to make an official inquiry as to your current capability to build us a new gate. Do you have the steel needed? The men to install it yourself? What kind of cost would it take to get this done within a tenday?

As a side note, I have always personally respected you and your work. My first sword bought here in the Underdark was of your make. I'll never forget that. I must admit though, from the stories I've heard regarding your patriotism in defending the old state of Lower, why you choose to remain there now under Montezzi is somewhat perplexing. If ever you should wish to move up top, know that the whole of Sanctuary City would celebrate such a decision. Of course, you are free to choose what you wish, such is the beauty of life.

Take care, -Ambassador Rook

Greetings,

I can get you the steel you need for the following prices:

Makeshift, shabby gate: 10,000 gold.

Durable, ordinary gate: 15,000 gold.

Powerful, well constructed, re-inforced gate: 20,000 gold.

It's just me and one other working here at Harrison Steel, so while I could help you do this, it would take the better part of a tenday for the two of us to finish it alone.

-- Harrison

Harrison,

Expect a down payment on the high end gate shortly. Also, I've four men staying at the estate who have expressed an interest in helping you speed things up. I'll send them your way.

Regards, -Ambassador Rook
