I'd like to say how cool this factions is!
A couple of us involved at the minute, but things are happening and memberships gets you straight into most events in lower.
It also gets you a modicum of respect and of course, you get to lay the smackdown in the Crone itself.
Loads of classes can shine... from Fighters and Rogues, to Bards and Wizards.
Cyrus is also one of the best NPC's in the game and great as a boss... most of the time :)
Great RP and much involvment to be had!
Get those apps in and get involved

As I once had a former Pissing Crone Employee, who lasted two days, I have to say, this faction gets loads of DM love. From Hosting story telling events to fight nights, to the intrigue you tend to get to the times you wish you can murder someone in front of you and lack a DM to possess Glorblor to aid yea.
So yea, it's great fun.

It comes with a handful of advantages:
- Respectably big private areas to plot and scheme
- A little bit of respect and protection as one of Cyrus' lackeys.
- Persistant storage
It's definitely enjoyable, but definitely not for every character. Because Cyrus doesn't want his business to suffer too much, people who will obviously scare customers away are going to have a fairly difficult time getting themselves a job.
However, it's a great place to look if you want to play a clever, modestly subtle character with a handful of lackeys. Evil will work just as well as good, surprisingly. I know of at least one Harper character who used Cyrus' protection to work for the greater good in Lower.

To any thinking of applying, we are generally willing to approve nearly any concept for this faction, so long as the thought is put into an application.
Basically, if you're looking to get involved with a DM group for the first time, this can be an excellent place to start!

Yep it's a good place, just keep in mind Cyrus does not have army. Certain people have joined this faction expecting far more protection then Cyrus himself could even give.
Just be reasonable in your expectations of what Cyrus can provide and it's a great place.

I have enjoyed working at the Crone. Hanging out, washing tables, serving drinks. It's a great gig. Could always use more bouncers to keep the peace when the drinking gets out of hand. Fight Nights are also an absolute blast to be part of.

Definitely in the top three of "Great Places to Torture People" in EfU.

I'll give it a shot, got a fighter working and getting some levels (you honestly expect a bouncer to keep higher levels contained at just level 3?)

Why not?
In the Crone as a bouncer you have the same PVP rights as a Watchmen does on the streets of Upper. And more specifically you would be backed up but by the other PC employees, Glorblor (badass),Cyrus (very badass), Xumar and many other 'locals'.
99 times out of 100 Doisur just emotes a nod or wink to Glorblor or Cyrus and troublemakers leave quickly or apologise.

I have two questions and an idea for this.
First the idea... for those that are Employee's of the Pissing Crone one perk could be free room to rest in. Right now it cost 7 gold to get a room.
Now the questions:
1) What jobs are open?
2) Where do you want the apps sent too?
I am running a Gnome Barbarian right now that likes to spend time in the Pissing Crone. His name is Ahaz Daergel, a table top character that I transfered to EFU, because I know his voice already.
Depending on the jobs and Perks... I might be willing to be an Employee. One of the things I have been doing is exploring all the different area's into/out of the Crone and the different rooms.
