When you summon them, are they magically summoned, or is it a whistle and they come running through town causing sheer panic and mayhem in there wake, probably snagging some Beggar child's arm as well?

Otherwords, isn't it wierd that these animals, likely surviving in the underdark before they are befriended by the Said Druid/Ranger, can be summoned INTO the town? Is it IC for them to APPEAR in town?

It is not magical. Animal Companions are assumed to be nearby the person in question, at all times unless specifically stated otherwise, merely out of sight.

Summoning them in the City will, and does generally cause a stir as it should.

Additionally, it is presumed when you ask a question that you wish it to be answered. You can stop ending questions or requests with the suffix "Fix/Answer plz" as it is incredibly obnoxious.
