I would like to speak with any of you about an incident that occured after i had completed a job for the seekers. Specifically, regarding a broken contract, and some misrepresentation by one of its members. I realise that perhaps i should have spoken with one of the higher authorities in their establishment first, but i thought i would get a line of communication going with you first, you being their source of funding and all.

While I appreciate your eagerness to be involved in the political process, it does seem peculiar to me that you have chosen to take the issue directly to the Council before making any sort of effort to resolve it with those who directly oversee the good conduct of the other party involved. Although I am in no position to question your good faith, I would advise that you proceed by making an honest effort to resolve the issue on your own before attempting to persuade the Council to intervene and, as you imply, use funding cuts as a punitive measure -- a proposal which I personally find misguided and distasteful, and which I sense from your letter you are all too eager to pursue.

Forgive the late reply. I have decided to go no further with any legal proceedings, i think i was a mite hasty in my judgement.

That being said, councillor Tyrell, i would love to get a chance to speak with you (or if you're unavailable, any other members of the council, i've yet to speak with mr Lancaster), i have some questions to ask you, and also some news that may bear hearing. I would not be alone, i have extended this opportunity to a halfling friend of mine who also has an interest in speaking with any honorable members of the council.
