Letter to Agent Symbaern left with a Spellguard agent

Agent Symbaern, I have recently entered the city of Sanctuary, after days lost in the Underdark. Upon my arrival, I was informed that I would need to register my arcane and divine spell-casting abilities with your organisation at Spellguard Tower.

It was to my horror that I found the tower deserted, and its lobby ruined. An Agent instructed me to pass a message to you, informing you of my presence.

I understand the danger of alerting malefactors to our presence from un-concealed casting, and am familiar with your organisations mark indicating securely warded buildings. I shall obey these edicts.

I must ask, however, if the magical abilities of potions or wands may be detected by our foes, and whether they too are forbidden to use outside warded buildings.

Egon, "the Balladeer", Rosenqvist.

*This letter is left at the Last Stand for pick up*

Sir Rosenqvist,

There is a bell still present in the lobby of the tower, near the sign within the lobby. Ring it, and an Agent will normally be with you shortly to process your registration. We ask you to wait outside after ringing it as the lobby is currently a hazard zone.

While the use of potions and wands is generally considered more acceptable in Sanctuary, I would err on the side of caution and say that the magical discharges can still be detected by Sanctuary's foes and only make use of them within warded buildings, if possible.

-Agent Isania Symbaern.
