Forsaken Night,

Forsook Night, what an odd name my parents gave me, but it doesn't matter. It is what defines me now, I am a warrior, a mercenary. I am told by paladins my soul is tainted with greed and blood lust, so be it. I am who I am and I will change according to my surroundings. but for now, greed is the way my world goes.

Forsaken Night has opened it's veil, the world hungers for sweet moonlight blood. But the darkness cannot be pierced, the hungry wolf howl's in the darkness, only to be consumed in shadow.

I am Night, yet I fear Darkness. Night is never dark, there is the moon and the star, the holy two, I wish I can gaze into them again, lose myself in constellation upon constellation. In the underdark I have seen the creates of perfection, but I cannot gaze upon the beings of Perfections.

Fools! Priestess's and Priests, they infest the rotten town. Do they not know? Gods enslave you! They do not free you, if you fight for a god, you chain yourself to that god, you can never break FREE! No, I despise the slaves of gods for the freedom they have never tasted, they fear choosing there own path, choosing there own future! They let a god decide for them, no, not me, I shall become my own

DESTINY!

This town is infested with greed, fools and forgotten hopes. Some wish they could die. I envy them. I envy those who want to die and give up all there worldly possessions. Bah, to give up any hope of respect and power. To give up the dreams of perfection. Such things belong to the victor's of the living, and by myself and my friends of this living world, I shall strive, strive to become the greatest!

I spoke with the countess Montezzi. She was quite drunk by the time it was over, and so I managed to inspect her without getting into to much trouble. SHe seems caged, and she lamented her state to me. I know what it is like to be caged, in my youth, I to was caged in the trappings of expectations, and her case was worst since she was once free.

So I gave her my advice before she left, "The question is, will the Raven fly free once more?"
