Azzam! (DM)

Sheriff Azzam,

I was recently informed of your decision to evict us from the Rhunyorn Arms building. I was also informed as to why you made such a choice. Now, I can't state that my employers actions were honorable - or even acceptable, in any sense - but I must state something done on your part. I can't guarantee that you'll be of the mind to care, sadly.

You see, I was employed on the terms that I would be given a place to live, as well as food. After this, I was given permission to adopt a son, which I did promptly. We both resided in the barracks, inside the Rhunyorn Arms building. Now, due to your decision, neither of us have a place to be staying. We can't find another place, you see, as I'm far too poor to afford so much as an inn room in Upper Sanctuary, and it's simply too dangerous to have a child down in Lower. Especially Charlie, as we fear too many may recall him from past incidents years ago. And, sadly, paying work is incredibly difficult to find, especially when you're physically unable to work to the abilities of a Human man.

So you see, sheriff, due to your actions, I and my son are both now homeless, without any form of income. I'm not asking for any form of compensation, nor am I trying to draw sympathy from you. I suppose all I'm trying to do is make you understand what a hypocrite you are, parading about with feigned intentions of protecting the people. I find it ironic that your only interest in your position seems to be the political advantage that it provides you with. Is it that you think your men can do it all on their own, that you are trying to force us to disband? Are you truly so insecure as to fear what a group of individuals who do the same job, in a more effective manner? Or can you simply not stand being lied to? This is Sanctuary, sheriff. I advise you to awaken and widen your eyes, as lying is what occurs here. Perhaps if the Sanctuary Watch were doing their job properly, things wouldn't be so, but such isn't the case. There are folks out here suffering while you live out your posh, perfect life behind your office desk.

A home, you see, is something sacred. Another man's home must always be respected. And by doing what you have done, Azzam, you have committed a sin, stealing another's home away. I suppose it's typical of what you are, however. Tell me, does your lot feel at all when you force another from what they have?

~ Tillmorrow.

The Archibald Estate takes in refugees at no cost. And it was irresponsible of you to rely upon another man to pay your rent for you and your son.

Stop whining.

AZZAM
