Letter to Prince Montezzi

A note written on a piece of dirty parchment is left on the bar in the Montezzi throne room by a bespectacled kobold with an 'M' carved above his left eye. The handwriting is neat and free of grammatical errors. It appears to have been written on the back of a discarded flier.

Your Highness,

I wish to apologize in advance for the state of this missive. My supply of clean paper is extremely limited and I must conserve it for the script proper, so I must resort to finding used papers in the street.

Though I must continue my search, I have acquired enough materials to begin drafting your highness' play. The production will focus on your earlier life, ending upon your arrival at Sanctuary. I will attempt to meet you at a time that is convenient for you for a detailed interview, but for now I have included a list of questions as per your suggestion.

1. What was the date and location of your birth? 2. Who were your parents, and what other important relatives did you have? 3. What major events occurred during your adolescence? 4. How did you come to be in the Underdark and discover Sanctuary?

Your Faithful Servant, Sisco DeSoto

Post-Script: I recall reading at one time or another that the House owns its own library. If that is the case, I desire the knowledge of its location and respectfully request access to any spare writing materials within its inventory, as parchment suitable for a published work is only available in Upper.
