I don't yet have a ship but it's never bad to start thinking ahead. My name is Gerrard Merrimar, a priest of Valkur for more years than I care to publicly divulge, and former captain of the Laden Maiden, a merchant vessel sailing out of just about as many ports as you can name along the coast of Tethyr.
What I'm seeking in the way of crew are strong lads and lasses capable of pulling their weight, and decent if it comes to a fight, as tends to happen when you sail with any sort of merchandise in abundance. Not looking for the type as tend too far towards greed and wanton violence, toward jealousy or anything of that sort. What I need are honest, hard-working men and women, and if you're the sort who's not afraid to step up and do what's right when the wind comes blowing, all the better.
Pay will not be steady, I regret to say, but it will be good when the bounty's there to be had, and I won't let anyone who calls me their captain go hungry or without a place to stay.
If you find yourself reading this and wondering if the life of a sailing man is the life for you, or if you've ever had the yearning for a group as tight as family since you left yours on the Surface world, leave word at the Last Stand or, better yet, find me in person.

[Flyers are scattered around Upper, mostly on public notice boards]
Captain Gerrard Merrimar still seeks crew (and a ship but we'll keep that a bit hushed for now). If you think you don't know enough about sailing, it's almost guaranteed you've got time to learn.
Positions available for deckhands, salespeople, navigating, and pretty much anything else you can think of that might be useful for a maritime trading company.
We also welcome anyone with the urge to put some hurt to the various monsters and what-not who think they have the right to take what honest merchants and craftsmen are trading. Doesn't matter to me if you have a score to settle or just a desire to help set things right for others.

Captain Gerrard Merrimar, Priest of Valkur the Mighty, seeks crew for a vessel to be operated out of the Canal Ward.
If you don't think you have the maritime experience to qualify for a position, you're not alone, so drop a note at the Last Stand and arrange for an interview. Got plenty of time to show ye the ropes.
Particularly, I'm looking for able-bodied men and women, who seek the challenges the Dark Lake has to offer, as well as the bounty. Going to just be trading for a while, and I reckon we'll have to put up with kobolds as trading partners for the time being, given the state of the Canal Ward, but there's an opportunity to do some real good for the city of Sanctuary here, and have a bit of fun for yerself at the same time.
