Letter for the Council

*An elegantly written letter containing the official seal of the Seeker Organization is left for the newly elected councilors at the Town Hall*

Honorable & Esteemed Councilors,

Allow me to be among the first to congratulate you on your election to lead the free people of Sanctuary. As I am sure you are all aware, the positions you are filling are not lax ones, nor are the complexity of the multitude of issues that lay before you which requires your judgment and leadership on. I wish each of you strength as you work towards accomplishing such.

Once you have settled in, I would ask each of you to allocate some time to review our proposition pertaining to the Seeker Reintegration to Sanctuary. As you might know, the Seekers used to be one of the three defense agencies that provided support to the security of Sanctuary. We eagerly seek to return to such responsibilities that were originally outlined within the first Civil Defense Act.

Although the Seeker caused did gain some ground with the councilors last term, it would seem that our reintegration faced veto by Chairman Dentra. Currently, the Seekers are currently adhering to Chairman Dentra’s and Sheriff Azzam’s wishes, and we are competing against the well funded Spellguard Associates for favor from the Sheriff and Chairman that I fear my never come.

If need be, I would be more then willing to address the newly elected Council as a whole, or with each councilor individually, the current plight of the Seekers. Additionally, I will make myself available to answer any difficult questions you might pose.

Respectfully,

Airandir Calmcacil, Seeker Emissary to the Council

Airindir,

Speak to Lewis. He's approached us already. Deliberations have begun. Pray that the fool headed young "Ambassador" and Dentra do not win out, in this matter.

~Councilor Raymus

Where in the nine hells have you been? I thought you were dead or something. Despite what you may believe, I'm glad that this is not true. I've been nothing but willing to deal with you, Seeker Calmcacil. I simply require proof of competency and willingness to serve the city above yourselves. The competition is to test just that. Additionally, the Spellguard Associates are given no funding from the city, nor from the Spellguard Order itself unless for very specific tasks to help defend this city.

Play by the rules, and be rewarded. It's a very simple matter. And you should make yourself more available. Lastly, I hope the Seeker I saved from Montezzi is well.

Chairman Dentra

[Kainth looks at the letter puzzled and confused, before bringing it to the scribe to be copied. He leave the council grounds with the copy soon afterward. A reply will be pending]

Good day Seeker,

it seems one of your ranks already knows more about that. With only some luck you are already as good as welcomed back. Speak to me or any other councilor personally about the details.

With regards,

~Paige M. Saint
