I was wondering how many people play on EfU with friends that they have met in person (IRL) either prior to or since starting to play here? (Also fine if your friend has also moved on from EfU, but played here for a while)
I was also curious if people discuss EfU with these friends when they get together, and if you think that adds to your playing experience/enjoyment of the server?

I've had three real life friends play on EfU, one of the being my dear cousin SanTelmo. And he's the only one left too. :?
I'm lazy at keeping up with the information here on the boards but luckily he keeps me informed >_> So yes, I'd say it adds to my enjoyment of the server.

I had a friend play for about a week. He enjoys pwning at DotA too much, and quit, sadly.
Funny enough, my frat buddies think the game, despite its somewhat nerdiness, is intriguing. Three or four of them check in to see what exciting and daring things are happening, or Dentra/Lucius/whoever has done that day. They're answer is typically, "That's badass man."

Until just recently, my answer would have been no.
Unfortunately, my co-worker has recently decided to start playing. Never roleplayed in his life, but is genuinely making an effort. It's shocking.
And it is in fact very good to have something to discuss when we're stuck on a 6 hour shift together and have nothing else to do.

My friends have a bad habit of walking into my room or calling me the second I enter PvP. Roar.

All my roomies know about me and EfU, though most people outside my room are surprised to know I'm even an online nerd.
Krunto and me have recently hooked up and are very happy together. We frequently talk about EfU while out to dinner or on walks along the beach.

There is a Wisconsin cult that plays EfU. We all know each other.

I think I am tied with the Wisconsin Cult for most people I know that play NWN.
I've known, or met, 9 people that play NWN (CoA, or EfU).

My old idiot PnP buddies play Warcraft... And continuously try to get me to play too... It quite literally makes me ill when I think about it.

Nope, most people I know didn't even know NwN existed until I told them about it.
I got my brother to create a character, but he made it to the stairway into Upper before he logged out saying "Maybe later"
Needless to say, it appears later really means never.

I voted no, however, one of my good friends from college got me into nwn on CoA, effectivly ruining my life. He also was around as a DM during alpha and beta. Musachi.
For the record, Musachi won CoA.
