Prince Montezzi

Montezzi,

So soon we speak again though for another matter. I ain't one for whining and complaining but the simple fact is that I am requesting 1000 coins compensation for the supplies I had to waste on avoiding your men's attacks and downing that arrogant magician that you now have on your side. I can easily explain it all in person if that is your wish, though I simply need your word (since I know you have honor) that I will not be attacked on my way to speak with you on the issue.

Warrik

Montezzi,

You either play amusing games or you house cowardice. I have heard so much from your mouth, from your servants' mouths, and even from those that have come to fear the blood you bring to your enemies about your honor, your "noble" ways. I merely ask once, as you are a learned man and should comprehend, will you deliver the heads of those that so cowardly surrounded me when I came within your fortress for the duel you decided? This is one of those situations that requires but a single word of response - Yes or No. Non-response is obviously considered the latter.

Warrik

Warrik,

As we both know, I decreed that you would duel Semaj, to settle your grievances. I have been told that you entered into the Fortress, chatted amiably with Countess Raven, and Semaj told you that he wished to duel when you were finished. I have further been told that after your conversation was concluded, Semaj announced the beginning of the duel, and attacked you. I am told you fled.

These actions displease me. I have reprimanded Semaj, and told him that for a duel to have any meaning, the start must be counted down to. He has apologized.

It is my wish still that you two duel, or at least come to my Fortress as before to settle your grievances and find my justice. I am not pleased by threats.

Prince Rinaldo Montezzi

Prince,

I am not pleased for you lack of discipline among your men. My threats are warranted. If you consider a duel between Semaj and I the same as a duel where two others are casting spells in an attempt to down me, then I shall have to rethink my neutrality with you ruling over my Lower home. You begin to look daft as you cannot even get the truth out of your people. I do not completely blame you as you probably cling to them to keep your rule strong, and thus as a kindness to you, I shall deal with the traitors among your ranks. I also do not make threats, this I assure you. I make promises that are warranted. Find a serum that makes your people tell the full truth and you will see what has been blind to you.

Warrik.
