You had asked me to report on anything of interest that I came across, given the nature of our discussion regarding the presence of certain folk in the canal ward, I wanted to convey these observations I had made.
Over the past few darks I have walked the canal ward and observed who is starting to move into it and the surrounding areas. At current time, here are my counts for the various elements.
Duerger: There are four Duerger out guarding the canal gate, two more patrol the canal ward itself.
Goblins: There are no fewer than 15 Goblins of various sort camped out in the alleys behind the market in lower. They seem to be setting up shop of sorts, but have nothing yet to sell.
Drow: Most disturbing is the presence of two Drow on the docks next to the old Mithrilsoul headquarters. They would not speak with me.
Kobolds: There are 3 Kobolds loitering around on a dock saying that they are preparing for the "Great Shadow Death Merchant"... I assume by this that they are Shadow tribe members.
Kuo-Toan: Next to these Kobolds, up until recently, there was a Kuo-Toan camped out on a dock, he (I assume it was a he) seems to have left now though. I am unaware of where he might have gone.
None of these new arrivals seem to be acting in a threatening way towards passersby, nor towards each other.
Please let me know if you wish me to look into anything specifically while I endeavour to fulfill the requirements for my consideration as an agent.
