Two Seperate Letters to Privates Meekins and Batts

These two letters are left at the Watch House for Meekins and Batts to receive and read on their own time when they are next off duty.

Dear Private Meekins,

I see that you and Private Batts have apparently been made partners on your patrols. I offer you my sympathy, but also wish you the strength to endure Batts until the day he comes to fully realize the error of his ways and thoughts when he tries to come between you and Stacey.

Do not let Batts' over protectiveness of his sister overcome you. Instead, stand and be proud of the beautiful love you share with Stacey. I am sure that one day, Batts will eventually realize this so that he will share and celebrate in your joy and happiness.

Sune's blessing be upon you, Senestia Avarscanti

Dear Private Batts,

I see that you and Private Meekins have apparently been assigned as partners together on your patrols. I am sure your superior decided upon this arrangement with great wisdom and a clear purpose. Now, however, is also a good time for you to better know the man who is very important to your sister.

Meekins is a good man, in time you will come to realize this. He does, after all, make Stacey happy and there is no reason at all to take that away from her. He obviously deeply cares for Stacey, having kept her safe and protected in some of the most dangerous and deepest portions of machine. And, perhaps most importantly, he is willing to endure and suffer your reputed wrath to be with Stacey.

These are all things that prove that Meekins is worthy of your sister's love. Dedication, courage, kindness. These are the things any woman would want and hope for in a man.

Sune's wisdom be with you, Senestia Avarscanti
