TRADITION
You have seen me about the streets of the city. We say hello in passing, or simply give a nod. Sometimes we speak longer. We share stories of the past, opinions on the present. We share a dream of a future that is bright. We share a tradition that is Sanctuary.
Our stories differ. The Sailor and the Farmer share this city. The Knight shares it with the Thief. For 152 years, people like you and I have met on these streets. We've learned about each other. We've learned to live with one another. We have made progress.
When the times have come, we have put aside our differences and we have toed the line together. When we stand our ground as one we have never been defeated. Heroes have made the ultimate sacrifice. Heroes from Archibald, the Watch and Spellguard. Heroes from citizens who used to be Sailors or Farmers. Who used to be Knights or Thieves. They used to be many things. Now they are Sanctuary.
We share a tradition that is Sanctuary.
