[Watch, SpellAssoc, Seekers, MarchMen, Society, SG, Archbld]

To the protectors of our city:

On behalf of the Spellguard Associates, I would like to formally invite you to send representatives of your organization to a showcase of our defenders' might on the evening of Alturiak the 22nd. Each group can enter as many combattants as they would like in the tournament. The brackets will be drawn the day-of for maximum flexibility and fairness.

We'll be recommending standard duel rules, but the contestants of each match will be allowed to come to their own terms in order to have fair, interesting matches. The showcase is just that- a showcase. We win by making a good showing of our abilities to the people that entrust us to defend them. Thus, cheating, unsporting conduct, or other such problems will be dealt with severely. I do not anticipate this being a problem.

Best of luck in the melee, and I look forward to seeing all of you in the Arena.

Chairman Dentra

A few more a sent out to those that have made no reply.

Elected Representative,

I am very interested in this series of duels. You may wish to warn your Spellguard Associate companions that I shall be in attendance. When shall it be commensorated?

Albrect von Asch Sergeant, Sanctuary Watch

*A shortly worded letter is penned in dark ink in reply*

Councilor Dentra,

The Seekers will respectfully decline the Spellguard Associates’ offer of showcasing our scouts and trackers, against the rest of the city's defenders. We are already abiding with your idea and the Sheriff's request of the Seeker completing against the Spellguard Associates in intelligence collection.

We simply do not have the time, personnel, resources, or patience for such matters.

Respectfully,

Airandir Calmcacil, Seeker

Associate Dentra,

Apologies for not replying to this letter earlier, but I was busy butchering aberrant filth. That said, it is more than likely that the Society will continue to decline these offers to 'showcase our abilities', as we are outnumbered many thousands to one, and so cannot afford to waste time on competitions with Sanctuary's organizations.
