Albrect, Watch House

Dear Albrect,

As some of the Watch already know, I am able to supply good men with divine wands. I am willing to offer the City Wide Patrol a discount on my wands of fifty percent off the profit margin. For example, I commonly charge seven hundred gold for a wand of serious healing. The actual cost to craft the wand is six hundred gold pieces and so the discounted price would be six hundred and fifty gold pieces.

Attached below is a catalogue of the spells I have had the time to research in terms of crafting costs along with their discounted price. If you let me know what other spells you would, I can determine the costs of those as well.

Best regards and a beautiful day to you, Senestia Avarscanti

Another copy of this letter is written and left at the Watch House.

He awakens with a start. The report papers explode upwards from his hands as a flock of seabirds taking wing from the calm, open ocean. A half forgotten sensation of restless freedom occurs which he finds as dizzyingly refreshing as it is briefly lived.

Eyes rimmed in weariness spend several moments scanning the empty briefing room. Once satisfied of his solitude, Albrect stands woodenly and collects up the file. As he retakes his seat he rubs his face vigorously. When he again looks upon the file in his lap, his eyes narrow. An unwanted visitor has nestled amongst the innocuous former tenants, made equally guilty by their silence.

He flings the unopened letter into the inbox of his redundant file clerks.

Lady Senestia,

I have interviewed a dwarfman who is interested in joining the Watch. I have mixed thoughts on him. He is Narvil Decker, the fellow Yandrie Redbeard clumsily hired to harass you.

I wish to know whether Decker issued you a warning against Yandrie, once you satisfied him with an answer. I will certainly take into consideration anything else you wish to add about the mans character.

Albrect von Asch Sergeant, Sanctuary Watch

Dear Albrect,

I could not recall who this Narvil Decker was until, as you saw, Salvador reminded me. I suppose you could say my quickness to forget the dwarf speaks volume about him.

Specifically, I do not recall Decker saying anything to me about Yandrie at all. Really, the only thing I do remember about the dwarf in particular was is obnoxious and rude behaviour. I have a difficult time imagining him as an asset to the Watch and able to work well with others of City Wide Patrol.

I hope this was of help to you, Albrect.

Best regards and a beautiful day to you, Senestia Avarscanti

P.S. Did you receive my other letters regarding a wand crafting business agreement? I have sent two but it seems perhaps they might have gotten lost in the mail.
