Prince Montezzi, Montezzi Fortress

Prince,

I pen this letter in the hopes that you take some advice from it and in turn continue to foster the peace between your blossoming nation and the historic one above you. I think it would be wise if you put someone up for a council seat. Your supporters in lower alone could elect an individual and believe it or not, some support you above as well. Through this, a better line of diplomacy and cooperation can be established.

On the surface, people of our noble heritage use marriage to serve this purpose. My own parents loveless one did much to end a feud begun hundreds of years former. Of course, her eventual beheading for infidelities did not cement these efforts. My point in all this is that by putting up someone for a council seat, the marriage of royalty and democracy can be a successful one, as long as neither side cheats on the other.

I'd suggest Ms. Ravenlock or Mr. Ignatiev as candidates. Both are generally well liked by the masses and have the physical and mental tools to earn a good number of votes.

Take care, -Ambassador Rook

P.S. – The discussion we had earlier is still being worked on, I’ll let you know the moment there is any progress.
