Gloves that give +1 AC (deflection) seems to be considered as if they were +1 Bracers (armor), hence they remove Armor Class unless I remove my armor.

I didn't know you even could put deflection AC on bracers. :S

Gloves only have deflection AC. Bracers only have armor AC. It's funky like that.

AC from Bracers will not work if your character is wearing any form of armor beyond clothing.

They aren't removing AC. They simply are having their own AC removed.

His are gloves and they are deflection, made to work with armor.
