I do apologize; my letter was rude and outright thuggish. It is correct to entertain the premise that I am nothing more then a no brained selfish opportunistic thug. I would whole heartedly agree with you, that I am just that, a thug. I would do well in the future to research more before stumbling blindly in the dark. In truth I mean no disrespect. I sadly believe I have disrespected your company and you. I sincerely do seek your forgiveness. Please consider this the failings of an uneducated and youthful vigor to find meaning in these caverns called Sanctuary.

I agree had I done the research I would have come to this very conclusion, as you believe I should have. Lower is and has been in a turbulent state for many, many darks, and likely more darks to come. Please understand that I have wrestled with the dilemma of even re-opening the Gambling Hall. Simple because why do I want to take the already hard owned coins of the common lowerman that should be used to feed his family. Jerry Boy’s own son remains on the street, I know this because I’ve delivered letter for the boy to his father. It is saddening to see so many children grow up on the streets of Lower, some abandoned, some forgotten, and some with no choice for their families have all passed by plague, blade, or starvation.

I must make known and very clear, I am no Montezzi man. I could care less for the whole organization. Leaders are made by the people they serve, and not by forcing the people to serve, that is tyranny. I am not very educated on the happenings of lower, even though I am lower born. I grew up hiding in holes that were not completely rat infested, and the few tiny rats that were unfortunate in numbers, kept my belly from rumbling some darks. I digress, Montezzi is not a man I admire, and my reasons for what I said are my own. I would be inclined to discuss them in person though.

I will take heed of this lesson, it is a lesson well learned and perhaps if I was to continue down the path of blood and greed, I would surely meet my end. I do not seek to conquer as many others have, lower is not something that be conquered. I hope to tame Lower Sanctuary, educate Lower Sanctuary, and to help Lower Sanctuary prosper. I do seek to be remembered, I want my deeds to live on, and how for once Lower Sanctuary thrived. Sure I am idealistic, and such things have little place in Sanctuary.

Mister Chins, let me be frank, I am but one lone Halfling. I have no gang. I do not in any way seek a fight, fighting brings nothing but dulled blades, and bloody soil. I do not see you and your brethren as old and tired, I see you as wise and educated.

I will do your act. Please keep in reason that I am not an evil man, nor am I a good man. I am a man of faith seeking a difference. It would do me good to complete an act that is completely selfish, but the finally result will still be me obtaining the Gambling Hall. It will leave me with at the end of the dark, with more then I awoke with. This for me perhaps a staging ground, those of like mind and hope will find me. I will do my best to deliver my message to them. I would rather see things not come to the end by your beloved Eyelashes Eddy experiment.

As for learning something, I can honestly say this dark I have been educated and for the better. Again I do apologize for the blunt instrument of my ignorance, sincerely my best wishes to your company and you. I would request to have a conversation with you, in person so that you may judge my character for yourself.

After our talk, and should I complete your task, I would still wish that you and your company remain here, be it on your on free will, at the Gambling Hall. I would do well to have your wisdom still here at the Gambling Hall, and perhaps my rash mind will learn something. Please again send your letter out for Micky Stones, it will find me.
