The Council

Councillors,

I know that before her passing away, Faenor Breena and the Elders of our clan had discussed with you a deal of us supporting the Council and Watch in the Canal Ward - possibly through deputization or other means. According to them, the deal was held off by beaurocracy and misunderstandings.

I hope we may now, at peace again, be able to rectify some of those misunderstandings and have our Clan be given a position in the defence of the Canal Ward.

We would, if the council approves this suggestion, also appreciate a compensation for our efforts, if it is so deemed appropriate. This however is not a term for an agreement.

Please answer as soon as possible. You have, so far, been slow to reply to my other letters, though I am sure this is due to the burden you must bear as leaders of this city, and not due to inefficiency on your part.

- Bolgar Bruteaxe Clan Mithrilsoul

Mr. Bruteaxe,

Come speak with me. I believe you may be grossly overestimating the extent of our previous discussions with the Faenor and the progress of negotiations. I'll clarify that in person.

Chairman Dentra

I hope we can talk again soon. We might have some interesting options to explore.
