I came up with a great idea to raise money for the temple of Sune.

a Grand Tournament with an entree fee taking place at the school of war.

The 3 toughest conestants shall win a share of the entree fees.

Rules

NO killing unless both duelists consent.

no potions or magics of any sort. at the event their will be food/drinks for spectators to purchase.

This is just my idea weather you put it to use or not is entirely up to you.

Sune keep you safe and Umberlee keep your bathes warm.

Thank you for the suggestion. However, as a Sunite I find that there are only two good situations in which martial combat is acceptable: defending the beautiful and loving, and vanquishing those that would unrelentingly destroy the beautiful and loving. Training to do either, I suppose, could qualify as a third.

"Recreational" combat, such as tournaments, however are frivolous and completely unnecessary. If people need and wish to compete, there are other ways to do so that do not risk unnecessary harming one another in a display of violence.
