Hello everyone!
I've been wanting to really start a following of Mask, and successfully create a shrine or temple to Mask in Sanctuary.
I'm welcoming all character classes and races. I really want the experience to be a blast, and all characters involved very memorable.
I do not want this to be a high PvP group, but things do happen. Instead I would like anyone who wants to join up to try an instill as much of the dogma of Mask into their character creation.
If anyone has any questions, or anything just send me a PM via forums.
If any DMs are curious about my ideas, or would like to support the group from time to time, again send me a PM.

I'm interested very much-ing-ee-ly in this. There are a few problems, for example the fact we'll have to do this very discreetly. Mask teaches worshippers never to use his signs and literaly mask their operations all the time, even to the point that we might need to do things I can't tell you here and will send you through a PM :) .
Alignments include CE/LE/NE/N? any specific classes/races?

Way to say nothing thomas.
As far as a temple or shrine of mask goes though, this sort of thing simply doesnt exist due to the nature of Mask. Everything is in secret.
For instance, a group of maskarrans may attempt to form some sort of trade guild or simply run an Inn. Something that gives them a legitimate front to their operation, while maintaining the secrecy of the group.
Although, even this, is a stretch for me as I always felt Maskarrans were more of the loner type. The con artists of Faerun. They work alone through manipulation. They dont operate out of a sense of greed, but out of a sense of simply wanting see how much they can get away with. A large group of them would seem unlikely, though possible in the form of a thieves guild. Mafia-esque. They would be the type of person who has seemingly endless contacts. People who owe him favors, people who are easily manipulated. People who can get him what he needs.

Thomas, thanks for that information. Its really awesome and gives more light to the subject of the faith.
I totally get temples or even shrines to Mask are a stretch. I just found that if groups share a lot of common interests, and I mean a lot of common interests. These groups tend to survive longer on EFU, and not to mention, individual goals seem to flourish in these type of groups. Because the group really wants to see that person's goals achieved.
Yeah, I want this group to have a home base, a legitimate front to all opperations. Having a home base/hideout is just cool. There are numerous ways to achieve this goal and make this happen.
I more of lets leave the secrecy to Shar, and bring the intrigue. Everyone wants to be rich, powerful, and successful. I'm wanting to put together group to do this, and then retire the characters with a stronghold, or base of operation where future PCs and take off from.
I just think anything is possible, and successful thieves guild is what I would really like to see. Its something that should pop up given the state of Lower Sanctuary, not to mention all of Sanctuary.
Its just a lot easier if the group shares all the same interests.
All classes and alignments are welcome.

Thank you Mr. Cheez-it, I will definately keep you informed.
As for everyone else who wants in, what I need is character name and race. Race is the most important, because I need to know if you need time getting an application approved.
Also what I need from everyone is their goals. If there is one thing I really want to see is everyone's goals achieved.
If one of your goals is to steal statue of Helm from their shrine, I'm aboard on this all the way. Its a little scary and down right nuts. IF that is your goal, let's freaking do it.
Goals are really important, without them we are just floating in the wind.
I would like everyone to consider being lower born. In other words we grew up here, and this is where we plan to stay. If you want connections to old gangs or guilds in the past, I suggest apping for them now.
Everyone PM me via forums, if you want to know what I am playing and such just tell me and I'll PM you the information.
Have fun with character creation!

Dude, I would totally help with the whole Maskitte thing, that sounds intriguing. One thing about the thieves guild though, Thievery is practically impossible on this server, you have to wait for opportune moments, like when the councilor frederick died and blackdog and I looted his corpse when the watch wasn't looking, or find a door that DOESN'T require a key to unlock, which is almost impossible to find, honestly the only thing Iv'e ever successfully stolen was from the seekers, who need to get a better lock because my level 2 rogue has like thirty of their map packs, or by mugging, which is, to me, just plain boring. I would much rather rob a faction without killing anyone than mug someone. That just sounds lame to me. However I'll definately back you up if you start this!

I want to think of every way to rob some one. Every way to involve others and have fun doing it, without having PvP or constant muggings.
I'm looking at every quest as an opurtunity to plunder everything including the kitchen sink.
Like the Matterhiem Furniture store that all kinds of crazy. We go in take care of whatever, then rob the place for building blueprints, or notes on animating objects.
Some people might want the knowledge on how to build a chest sturdy enough that when its enchanted, be it not correctly enchanted, it fight back to protect the owners valuables. So the owner gets whacked by the chest, it opens oppurtunity for us to come and "clean up" the mess.
The example above is way over the top. I can think of several places, that could do without their belongings. There are plenty of ways to have fun in Lower. Petey you are so right, successfully stealing from the Seekers had to be a blast, especially at level 2. The mugging and corpse looting is just down right boring and lame.
I would say there is definately going to be a trophy room, if a hide out or front is secured.
It sounds to me like I'm really trying to hype this up as much as I can, that's exactly what I'm doing too. If everyone that wants to be involved is as hyped up as me, then its going to be a blast.

Alright here is what I'm needing from everyone. You don't have to take on these roles, its only a suggestion.
Master of Brew - make delicious ales, beers, wines, and etc.
Master of Games - handle the games, be it cards, dice, ratfights, gladitor fights, and etc.
Master Chef - make delicious foods the likes that have never been seen before.
Madam of Pleasures - make sure proper services are provided to the Prince and his court, and the citizens of Lower Sanctuary.
Chief of Security - make sure no does something stupid, and it something stupid should happen then Stupid gets dealt with.
Master Host & Tale Weaver - a bard, an incredible bard that can keep the attention of a Prince and his court, and the ruff citizens of lower.
For now that's it. It would be awesome to see characters with these types of backgrounds. Again, play what you want to play, and be sure its fun for you. Laters!!

Just from my experience, assigning roles really doesn't work. If you find cool characters, you should just roll with that!

I thought sometimes giving a title to something attracts others to want to develop that role. Sure it has a title, the player can take it as they want it.
My failings is that I don't have a place where these characters can take on and develop these roles.
I could careless if the character is cool, or a complete screw up. If the player has a concept they want to honestly develop, and brings others together to make the server experience that much more, then awesome.
A valid point trendy, but this is just me trying to bring something more to the server.
