Note for Senestia Avarscanti at the Last Stand

[a note is left, folded and sealed with a wax imprint of a gauntlet with an open eye on it. On the outside is written "Senestia Avarscanti" in neat script]

Senestia,

I would ask a boon of you, if possible. I seek to place myself at the service of the Watch, and I would be grateful if you could see fit to pen a missive for the organisation with your thoughts or opinions of me.

You know I am a man of integrity. Recall the stance I took in the tunnels when the Montezzi thugs ambushed our party. Though I was beaten badly, I stood my ground and did all in my power to protect those in my charge at the time.

I only ask that you provide an honest accounting of me, no more.

May Helm watch over you.

-Gil Smith

Dear Gil,

Of course I would send a letter to the Watch recommending you. In fact, I suspect that by the time you read this, so will a Watchman be reading a letter I have sent to them.

And indeed, that day within the tunnels is the first thing that came to mind when I thought of your honourable courage.

Best regards and a beautiful day to you, Senestia Avarscanti
