Traps/Loot don't generally reset on quests after they've already been done.
I know this for sure on the Purst quest, not too sure on the others.

I'd say, I didn't know there were traps on the Purst quest.
I think as far as traps in general go, we're all waiting for the 1.67 patch to allow greater trap customisation systems and randomisation settings for quests. This then allows certain traps to be toned down, but unmetable (random). Nothing like tripping loads of traps, although, 4 people dieing instantly to a strong electric is a bit blergh.
edit: for the record, I seem to remember there are traps. my statement above was general by the way.
Traps don't reset. Quests are getting switched over to reset loot now that the code works properly.
Arga and Stonegarden work for sure. Howland can give a list of which ones he has switched to the new loot system, but I think it's a lot. The two I name are the ones I tested with.
