Cpl. Brinson,

I have received and read your letter with great contemplation and must relay that I am at a loss to where along the way the Watch given up reason for good, simply to enforce a standard that is exploited by cur from House Montezzi.

While it is true that I entered into a physical altercation in Upper, it was with a man who is not a citizen of Sanctuary. Rather, this man openly praises House Montezzi and even actively took part in killing Pvt Danger and the Dwarves during the assault in lower. This cur openly praised the nobility of Montezzi, while standing in the streets of upper without fear of reprisal from the Watch or Spellguard. This, as I hope you can understand, was too much to bear. While I aimlessly missed my strike on this cur, I was nearly cut in half by that damnable patrolling Animatron without any warning to cease.

Based upon the totality of the information I am relaying to you, I strongly recommend that the Watch drop all criminal charges against me. If the Watch persists in filing these charges, then I will make myself available, albeit in a further state of disbelief of distortion of Sanctuary law and Sanctuary wellbeing.

Do not think I'm unsympathetic to this, I've lost friends to the Montezzi as well. You still need to answer for the crime of assault even if you could prove that he is no citizen of Sanctuary, for such are our laws here and you are better off with a reputation of responding to our laws than otherwise, especially if things are to proceed with the remaining Brotherhood and the Seekers. The man you assaulted had it in his mind to charge you for attempted murder, I'd hate for him to get someone else to bring that charge forward when it's just an assault. I intend to change a couple of habits that's developed recently, but I cannot help you if you're a fugitive from our laws.

There's a couple of things I wish to speak with you about, as I told you when we last met. On a side note, Private Danger was handed back to us alive.

I am relieved to hear that Pvt Danger was returned back to the Watch alive. I will make myself available to answer to these charges, as well as take responsiblities for my actions. I would agree with you that there is too much at stake between our two organizations, to allow simple matters such as this stand in the way. I will make myself available a soon as I am back within the city.
