I’ve noticed that there is a level gap in quests. I have hooked up with other PC’s on a twosome and if/when one is 4th level and one is 5th level they can’t do anything together anymore (at least not without a 3rd PC). Two PC’s can make a descent enough team and should be able to adventure without a third for a least couple low XP quests if nothing else.
Can we get one or two quests (in addition to 'Crazy Mary') that allow for two PC’s of 4th and 5th level to adventure together without having to find a third player? I understand the “role-play and find a third” debate but sometimes finding a third PC that is in this middle level status isn’t easy, they are either to high or to low to all hook up together.
Note: Granted I’m not an expert on all the quests in the game but at least I am unable to find any. Maybe they’re out there and I just haven’t found them...

Brewery, Mary's, Goblins, Kobolds, Haunted Fortress, more Kobolds, Power Core, Temple 'o Hoar (or do you need 3 people for that?) if you're half decent, Purst's Pig Farm, Matternheim's Furniture - And that's just to name a few quests you can do with 2 people at L4-5.

I'm not at home and can't load the game, but I know off the top of my head that Matterhiem's is 4th max and I believe (not sure) that the power core needs three PC's...
And I think Luke Danger will attest that taking two PC’s (even a 5th level paladin and 4th level cleric) into Purst’s pig farm isn't always a good idea.

I did the Pig farm numerous times as a 4th Level Cleric, and my only friend was a Level 4 Fighter/Level 1 Cleric.
It can be done
I agree, though, it does seem to be a slow process from 4-5.

Might be true on Matterheim's. Volts can be done by two dudes. Purst's Pigfarm gets swept away by a soft Underdark breeze. And there's always the rest. If you're looking for XP from low level quests, you'll find questing with larger groups means you'll get more XP.

It's not really a matter of looking for XP. It's more a matter of when you're perhaps the only 2 PC's around you generally stand there looking at each other. There are times on the server that trying to find your 3rd is next to impossible.
I can personally attest to the fact the there is "quest break point" so to speak between 4th & 5th level. There's been many many times that I've either had to drop because the rest of the party couldn't do their quest with me in the group ... or ... I've stood around picking my arse because everyone was either too high or too low to party up with me to adventure.
Don't get me wrong ... I love the RP here. But just standing around BS'ing for 5 hours gets old quick ... especially if the person you're RPing with sits less than 3 feet from you IRL.

Spiders in the Stinky Sewers is a classic. Child of Dunwarren is a good one that I think is levels 2-5 or 3-5. Doesn't the Spellguard have one with ouchy, *spoiler* bridges and animitrons that is for lower levels?
My suggestion to the DMs is that there are more IG hints/info/leads for newer players for all of these neat quests. Actually, I'd like to see more of the above for all of the quests, particularly some of the more obscure ones.
Once in a while, maybe have a DM possess an NPC and hire for some of the less frequented quests? Spice could be added or not, depending on DM availability. Even popping in on one of these "DM hires" 2-3 times during the quest would be hawt.

Goblin camp, Flying Chosen, Tomb of Jubal, and from what I've heard, Duergar Fortress, all allow parties of 2 also. :)
Unfortunately, I don't know if the last allows lvl 4 PCs.

Well there is my answer then... I suppose I need to get out there and find some of these.
Thanks :D

A pity we can't have a 'spoiler free' list of 'quest's level ranges in a given area'. Heck, I didn't even know about the Beetle Queen without dragging myself out solo & bored, let alone the curio shop. Map notes are useless, so I've either got to take screenshots and tag them in Paint, or resort to lists/paper. Hmm.... 8)

The content of this thread is starting to get into a gray area. You are supposed to and are encouraged to go out and find these quests on your own, not have them handed to you on a platter.

Any quest can be done with two or three people.
It just involves luck, skill, and preparation.

I agree with ES here. Listing off all the quests on the server, what level to do them, and what class composition you did them with seems a bit 'meh' to me. Who wants to write the powerleveling strategy guide "Secrets to EFU THEY Don't Want YOU to Know About!"?

seriously, I have worked away many hours of my life looking for these secrets and I don't think it's right posting them willy-nilly until I figure out where kegs of alchemist fire are. (Which everyone seems to know of except for me.)

You guys are kind of missing the point. We're not asking to have a list of quests, with their lvls and trigger points handed to us.
What we were asking for is a couple of quests that are for 3-5 lvl for 1-2 PC's.
Obviously there are a few out there than can be done with 2+, but it is rare. Generally by the time you hit 5th lvl the quests are wanting 3+. At least that has been our experience so far.
Gwydion had a good add-on to the suggestion ... if they are out there, a few more IG hints/info/leads would be nice. It's hard to get the information you're looking for if you don't know where to even start ;)

There's more than enough quests in this level bracket, and a good number of them can be done by 2 people and up.
