When speaking to the locked door you're told that this is a one time only opportunity, which, judging by the dialogue, makes sense. However, after having previously accepted the quest only to decline at the very end, I'm still able to retry the quest. I don't know if this is intentional, but being able to say "srew you" and then return after the next reset sort of spoils the idea of "earning his respect"... Unless he's suffering from Alzheimers...

This is likely involved with one of the EFUQS items on my to-do list. I'll make sure this gets looked at again after that item is fixed.

If no DMs chime in, I suppose I could check it. It's not like my current character would *spoiler* anyways.

This quest doesn't run on EFUQS, but I'm not feeling particularly motivated to fix this issue right now.
