I was involved in a minor altercation in the alley ways of Lower earlier today. I am sure you will hear of it, if you have not already.
Suffice to say one of your men accosted a Spellguard agent for laws he supposedly had broken. I am not sure if the Alleys south of the canal ward have been claimed by your men or not. Thus I was not sure if any laws had truly been broken. Though I must be honest, even if the land was claimed, I was not going to involve myself regardless.
I do not mean this missive to be long winded, simply an explanation towards the continued neutrality towards myself and your men. I took no part in the battle to come on either side. While it might be argued that I should always support a Montezzi Retainer, I might point out that the man survived the attack and I was not about to attack a Spellguard Agent and the others I was assisting. I am neither a traitor or fool.
I still have much work to do in Lower involving the threat of Undead and hope I will not be marked an enemy of your people for this altercation I witnessed.
