Well, since i've came to this server, I see that dying is common, very common, so I was wondering, which of your characters have lived the longest/shortest?

Well, heres mines first, just post it as I do it 8)

Shortest Life Span - Marcion Diel - One Week

Longest Life Span - Marzak Kanen - Two Months

Longest: Riddle >15 months

Longest, Frum Janglefielf, 12 months Shortest Toman Hull, 3 hours. (executed)

Shortest: Hjorn Renken, 2 hours (killed by a horde of flying Chosen) Longest: Zeezin, 2 months.

Anything longer than a month is something to be proud of.

Many of my characters lasted more than a month. I'm not sure about the exact durations of the shortest and the longest, but in logins it's 7 and 301. Or, 13 hours and 12 days of gameplay.

I don't play him often, but Vrirkuk has been alive since Alpha-testing: so a few years now.

Brugh, my half-orc priest of Ghaunadaur died in a duel after being played for about two hours.

I've had a couple last about a year (my Seeker and Agent). The shortest was about 2 hours (a kobold of course).

5-10 minutes With a goblin. (seeker Scae)

I dont know my longest though.

Pretty much any goblin or kobold I've ever played died within minutes. As for a real character (Slam burn!) I had some sort of cleric once that died within an hour, trying to solo Andrew's without buffing. Needless to say, first cleric.

Longest would definitely be Ulgar Ulgarsson, who just now was ended on one of the coolest DM events I've ever been a part of. I believe his timeline was something like a month and a half, but the beginning's a bit foggy.

Goblin Barbarian Queen Mnak !! 4 months? Introduced the Montezzi clan to true smack down at Intryzz's contest at the Prymo, pretty damn real char if you ask me..

I'm not sure how long I played Geigne (Lone Wolf/Politician), but I'm guessing 6+ months. Same with Ferrington (Spellguard Operative), around 8 months. Criler (Beggar/Seeker) I made during alpha or early beta, but I didn't get around to playing him after Ferrington. He prolly lasted somewhere between 1-3 months.

All of my characters last between 1 and 2 months, or are silly characters who die quickly.

Longest was Elapidae, ~60 days

Shortest, I would say was my Halfling Pissing Crone Manager, who was murdered by a rival in the crone basement about 3 hours after getting approved.

Shortest? Ooooh, hmmm, hard to say. Infact I can't recall!

Longest? Well that would be Snyder, nearly a year now, with out ditching him entirely for a new character.

Merle and dilandau ive had for two years and a year roughly i think. Shortest would have been Typhon at about 4 months.

My longest living character... Angelica, died from pvp. Played her about, 1 3/4 months. Only really intensely the first month though, the last 2 weeks or so I hardly logged in at all.

This character was created on Monday, March 17th at 11:28:13 AM. Since creation, this character has logged on and off 204 times. The character has spent 6 days, 11 hours, 12 minutes, and 5 seconds online

My shortest... Well, the shortest that I stopped playing because of a death would be Kizinix, a kobold. He lived approx 5 days I think.

This character was created on Thursday, February 28th at 01:23:15 PM. Since creation, this character has logged on and off 25 times. The character has spent 13 hours, 28 minutes, and 42 seconds online.

Shortest: Iok Qus'tenarr - 2 months of *intense* pleasure!

Longest: Kepler Szul - 18 months of exquisite delight, mystery, buffoonery, and intrigue. There's always intrigue in playing a rogue who thinks he is Superman.

My current main character, Rodon Brinson, is my longest played character yet. Seven months, almost all the time in the Watch.

Talir Shortest was my first kobold, Arakthar Stabhisser, a greedy 8 wisdom reptile who thought it wise to join three goblins in an adventurous journey into the Underdark. He met his end by climbing into the stomach of a beast, having been told he would find countless riches there. 4 hours played.

Definately the highlight of my first goblin's brief life.

Longest: Garin Goldthread, 2 months

Shortest: Terin Unisbane, 17 minutes (Executed)

He was actually innocent, by the way, but he attacked the councelor who was judging him on sight. This caused the trial to move with great haste.

Krithax The Kobold Sorcerer - Somewhere around three minutes.

Plignax The Ragetaken (Goblin) - A few months.

Krithax died to a rothe. Plignax died to House Montezzi full-on charging him. Though funnily, my kobolds and goblins tend to last longer than most regular races..

Longest continuous character was Cail Durris, who I played for 8 months. Alternatively, I did play Karley Sannet off and on for about 3 years, whenever I was between characters, and finally as a Main.

My shortest... Probably my hyper-clumsy Oghman scholar. Lasted a couple weeks maybe, and then I got enormously bored of him.

Shortest would be a Wizard I made who got caught up in Tooth's final stand on the losing side. (About two hours) :D

Tayin- Kobold wizard. 2 minutes. Gnome. Right after leaving the Crone for the first time. Sad. Gnome get head. =D

My longest living character is Sorrell Greyn with 12+ months of active play.

My shortest lived character was Xavier DeMoray who lived less 2 1/2 months.

Typically about 3 months, but really, most of my characters I just eventually quit. I have a bad problem with my characters never dying when they probably should. It's a good problem to have, I guess.

yeah I remember cail durris, when two level 3 thugs beat the shit out of a than level 8 cail durris lol

Longest: Clara Fireheart 12 months

Shortest: Ralf Hooley the Druid. Time: 1 hour. Only created so he could be Father Dougal . He was an awful eejit.
