I am writing about the identity of the Elderly Caretaker whom follows Kelemvor. The one whom is dying... what is his name?

I'm unsure as to who you're talking about? The Mausoleum has but four staff, including me, and as far as I know none of them follows Kelemvor.

A man named Anders Lerim claimed ownership or atleast implied he was the Keeper of the Mausoleum before he passed at the very same place. He asked me to resume leadership and under this agreement bestowed upon me a set of armor of the Eternal Order.

The fact that he carries such equipment either implies he slew a man of my faith or he is infact a man of Kelemvor. If he is such a man of my faith then it further suggests he very likely was involved with your Mausoleum.

I intend fufill my promise and seek to take the reigns of the Mausoleum and root out this curse it has. I apologise for going over your head, if you are the actual caretaker, in my pursuit to take over. I still intend to, regardless, and if there is anything I might do to persuade you to relinquish your duties to me then I will do them.

Please forgive my manner of speech in this letter, I simply wish to clear some things up.

No one by the name of Anders Lerim has ever been employed by the Mausoleum, as far as I can tell from going through the records. Either he was making a reference to another mausoleum, as there are several others in Sanctuary and the surrounding Underdark, or he was simply lying to you.

If you want to discuss the possibility of me relinquishing my duties as Caretaker of the Mausoleum to you, I'd be willing to consider it. It is an option to simply work at the Mausoleum, though, without being the Caretaker - I'm sure you'd fit in with our incredibly bizarre group.

As a final point- As far as I know, the former Temple of Hoar's crypts are still infested with an undead presence far outweighing what we have at the Mausoleum, that because of the Montezzi idiocy is currently unchecked at all. Perhaps it would be worthwile to look into dealing with that.

I appreciate your offer to join your fold and work at the Mausoleum. However, this will not do. Furthermore, I know not why you suggest I take over the Shrine of Hoar. I am a man of the clergy of Kelemvor. I am not a man of Hoar and I will insult no God by preaching my faith before their alter, no matter how cursed the crypt is. I also have no desire to work alongside Myrkulites who preach a false faith of fear in death, let alone those who would tolerate them.

The fact of the matter is that you have been Caretaker for the Mausoleum for some time. I have rarely, if ever actually seen you about Sanctuary, and I have never actually heard of any efforts by you to combat the undead menace that threatens our city, our people, and our faiths. Furthermore, you have done little to see to the peaceful rest of our own dead in the Mausoleum.

I will not believe I am completely right, I may truly be mistaken and I am wrong in all aspects I supplied above, if that is so I apologise. However, if I am right, you should consider my request more seriously, as I will strive to do all these things mentioned above and anyone who knows of me will vouch for me.
