the new Death-logging retire a character thing

Could you expand on this? I don't entirely get what is involved here. Do you mean if someone logs while in the fugue, their character will be deleted?

Thanks. Just want to understand it completely.

If you're in the fugue, you've already died. Deathlogging is logging out at a point while you're alive, in an attempt to avoid dying. Then you log your character in at a later time, alive and safe. Quite obviously cheating!

There is no character deletion when you're caught. Your character is OOCly jailed in a DM area.

Ooops.

There are messages and signs sent to / in front of people who are retired for deathlogging. Please start your own Q&A thread next time, too. You should know better by now.

great, thanks for the clarification.
