[Senestia, Last Stand]

It is my wish that the fighting between our disparate factions comes to a close. You've capitulated, yes, but I would ask that you come forward with myself in a display of unity and use the funeral of Duke Kharnum to memorialize all whom have fallen in the last two weeks. The House of Montezzi will provide generous gold to all singers whom come to honor the dead, and open the prize to any singers or entertainers that wish to perform. If you agree, then we'll memorialize the Seekers, and their loyal followers, whom died doing what they ultimately felt was the right thing as well as our own Duke, Warden Violette, and their humble followers killed fighting for by the will of Siamorph to establish a realm for my brother. This joint ceremony will be a beautiful thing, and help to calm the violence that has bubbled in our hearts. I would humbly plead that you assist me in planning the festivities, and if you should accept, I've a very special gift for you of unmistakable splendor.

~Count Montezzi

Count Montezzi,

I lead no faction, am part of no faction, and have no influence over any faction. Any relation I have with any Seekers is purely personal. I will pass along this letter to any Seeker that I encounter between now and the funeral but I am afraid I will not be able to provide any input in regards to how the Seekers will react as an organization to your proposal.

On a further note, I am sorry to say that I will likely not be able to attend the upcoming funeral. I have been given an important, unavoidable task by Adelia Tyrell that, unfortunately, will require me to be out of the city for a great amount of time. Know, however, that my thoughts will be with the lost and deceased.

You're such a cult of personality that I merely assumed you lead a great faction of paramours, forgive me. I will postpone the event. It will give the peasants more time to arrange the tables, and craft a careful doll of Kharnum that I may burn in effigy. More importantly it will extend the moratorium that my brother's men are beholden to in hunting down our enemies, giving them a chance to bow before the throne, and be forgiven. Leave a time that is good for you and we'll discuss further arrangements.

~Count Montezzi

Count Montezzi,

Though it is kind of you to postpone the funeral, I hope it is not on my account alone. The event, after all, is primarily for your Duke and you, of all people, have final say and decision in regards to his last farewell.

I will not know when I will return from my task but I shall contact you when I do. If you wish, please feel free to send me another letter at least the day after tomorrow.

Regards, Senestia Avarscanti
