Riddle,
Angelica passed away recently, and one of Montezzi's men, Waylon Spitworth, is wearing her helm, and I know she wouldn't of written it to her in her will for it to go to him. If he has obtained her helm illegally by looting her body, or form a goblin who did (acording to him it was the Goblin the Montezzi's have), what action can be legally taken?
This is a bit of a personal matter, since Angelica was a friend, or at least close to one.

Hammer 15th

Private Danger,
It saddens me read these news.
Angelica did indeed not bequeath anything to this Mr. Spitworth, and as I did not know of her passing until now, I have not seen it or any of her belongings pass by me. You should ask that these items are returned, but before you take further actions for it you should ask your Sgt. von Asch what may or may not be done. I would not wish his efforts for peace with Montezzi to be in vain.
Please report to me when you have any news.
My condolences to you for the loss of your friend,
Notary Clerk of Last Wills and Testaments Mr. Riddle
Senior Clerk
Office of the Herald

Riddle,
Aye, I'm sending a letter to them to inform them of this so that they know they must return the belongings due to the law. Thank you for informing me of this Riddle, no one should be allowed to loot a noble person like Angelica for standing up for what they thought is right. If House Montezzi does not comply, I'll tell Von Asch and, if he's effectivly the ambasidor to the Montezzis from the Upper, then he can inform them of this should they not respond to the letter I'm going to send or decline to do so. Should they not comply, I'll wait for orders about it, and if they come into the Upper, I'll inform them of this and politly ask that they return her belongings to the Office of the Herald to be sent to those mentioned in her will, as in the Upper, they are subject to Upper law. With only the needed force, which, hopefully, will be none. (though personally I'd rather end a Montezzi, but I won't jeapordize the safety of those I protect over vengence, no sir).
Again, I'll check with Von Asch first before making a move about this.
Thank you for the quick response.
