Report: Failed Assassination Attempt sees the end of the Were-rat.

Hammer 13th :: 1375 DR To: Sergeant Asch

A group I was traveling with was scattered about over a single area following a trail of coins thrown across the ground. As we were starting to converge back into the same locale, the were-rat jumped out on part of our group. He was knocked asunder due to a bag of wind, and that slowed him down long enough for the rest of us to get over. A few disabling spells and a divinely-enchanted six-way attack latter. The Rat was brought to his knees. We're going to begin extracting information from it, however Mariana slew on the spot before he said ten words. The party involved with the were-rat's end, were the following:

6. 'Nightmare'
7. Shayleigh

He was in possession of the Spellguard Associates key and a sewer key. However, he did not seem to carry anything of the old Councilor's nor much to identify himself with beyond a holy symbol of Talona. After we brought it in, his sword crumbled into decay and his gloved leapt up as living rats. Do let me know if you require any more details on this event. We can only assume his target was either, Merin, Shayleigh, or Myself.
