Would you play EFU on NWN 1 when NWN 2 came out, I vote Yes, just seeing what everyone else thinks

Most certainly I would. It will be long after NWN2 comes out before I will get a rig capable of playing it at properly, if at all.

Yeah I will agree to that - I will have a rig that can run NWN 2 but I have always been up for good game content rather than graphics and packaging.

I will be here for the long term or until I get kicked off for playing annoying boyscouts.

Even if I could play nwn 2, I'd still play efu. For seriously, a single campaign can't keep me satisfied too long.

Games for me are good fun, and a strong community. Not graphics and flashy special effects. I will definatly play Efu when NWN 2 comes out, until the moment it is decided we will move to NWN 2 (or until Howland calls Judgement Day on us; regardless, I will likely stick with it to the end).

There wont be any NWN2 servers up and ready to go or have the necessary effort put into them like EFU (and others).

So although I'll play the NWN2 single player campaign (once only) it will be quite a while till servers will be out there for nwn2 worthy of multiplayer play.

And for roleplay you need PEOPLE to make it happen and to keep it happening, so an empty good looking server will always fail when compared to a server with people and roleplay that might look so good.

The only reason I'd play nwn2 over nwn if they were equal in all other ways is because nwn2 has the potential to be more immersive (though there is some talk about how nwn2 might be too memory hungry for PW's in general)

Currently I have a preference of EFU over all the other games installed on my computer, which consists of CSS, HL2, BF2, Oblivion, Homeworld 2, Starcraft...

I'm afraid I will be dropping from the player list of EfU if the server is ever transferred over to NWN 2. I hardly play any other computer games than NWN. Also, to be honest, I'd probably have to buy a whole new computer for NWN 2 and that's quite a sum for just one game.

In case the point wasn't made clear, I voted yes :P

From What ive read about pw support for nwn2, it might not be feasible to import EFU as is onto nwn2 right off the bat. Needless to say NWN2 isnt due out for a while, and i doubt anything great will come of the multiplayer PW stuff for a while. i'm in no hurry to give up the ship.

Actually looking at the score now: 48|0, I think the point comes across well 8).

Seriously though, if (hoping when) EfU gets ported to NWN2, assuming I'll still be interested by then - and haven't been kicked out - I'll follow. I'll be upgrading my PC anyways to play NWN2, now I'll just wait an extra month or 2 for the added performance. Until then I'll gladly stick with NWN1.
