How often are Private Mails sent?

I have 4 or so PMs sitting in my Outbox awaiting delivery some have been there for a few hours and I was wondering if something was wrong

PMs are touchy. Sometimes they don't send, but I have yet to have a problem with them in 2006.

Also, it has to do with the person you sent it to. Ask them via tells or IRC if they got it, just to make sure it's a problem. I believe your case is that the other player hasn't logged in since you sent the PM, so they haven't been able to recieve it. I could be wrong, of course.

Ah ok - the Sent Box is a function of the other player - that makes a lot more sense - I was thinking in terms of a more traditional Mail Server type set up.

I think peope have to log on and read them before they get tagged "Sent"

Gives you a chance to delete hate mail if you change your mind in the morning and you're lucky enough that the recipient hasn't seen them yet :)
